A few more interviews lay waiting in the wings for me to transcribe and summarize for the website, and the project remains alive and well. Thanks to the support of The Alpine Club of Canada, Mountain Mama and Mountain Equipment Co-op, the survey gained some serious wings. To date, 378 outdoor adventurers from all over the North America and Europe, both parents and kidless, have filled out the survey, a turnout that far exceeded my expectations. There is still time to fill it out if you haven’t done so already.

I have a number of Partners who still need interviewing, but with it being summertime many are out on trips and expeditions. I surely can’t complain about that. I’ve enjoyed a number of great little trips myself, including some scrambles up here in the Canadian Rockies and a memorable night at the ACC’s Scott Duncan Hut where our group of three waded through knee-deep water a quarter of the way, but were rewarded to northern lights over the Waputik Icefield in the middle of the night.

So, stay tuned and thanks so much for passing on the links to the articles and survey here on the website. Each and every one of you is an important piece of this big puzzle I’m calling The Adventures in Parenthood Project, and I feel so incredibly thankful for the support the project has received so far.
