Just a quick post to say that I have been approached by the founder of Mountain Baby, an outdoor gear provider based out of Nelson, British Columbia, expressing a desire to partner with me and The Adventures in Parenthood Project. For over 18 years they have been providing families with the things they need to be in nature, be active, and thrive together (sounds right up my alley!). And while their kid-friendly store has everything from play areas to a huge nursing room and a tiny toilet, you don’t need to be in Nelson to shop there. Check out their online store at mountainbaby.com (available in Canada and USA).
So, the company’s founder, Judy Banfield, and I are teaming up to help families get into the great outdoors! I’m looking forward to seeing what this new partnership will bring. For starters they will be providing gear for review (and to help my little family enjoy the outdoors), beginning with this sweet Sunday Afternoons Playhat for my little one. Keep your eyes on the website for an upcoming review!

That’s awesome, congrats! I got my infant PFD from them (or, well, my coworkers did, since it was on my registry). It was the only place online that I could find it that shipped to the US. I love everything on their site! Looking forward to the reviews.
Thanks, Dani! Judy mentioned that she ships a lot of those infant PFDs since they aren’t available in the US.
Thanks Meghan!
All of us at Mountain Baby are thrilled about our partnership. It’s wonderful to establish connections with parents who share our love of the outdoors and children. We look forward to watching your adventures and supporting you in introducing your little one to our magnificent natural environment. And thanks, Dani, for the great endorsement! Glad you are enjoying your PFD! Judy
Thanks again, Judy! I have already been putting my Baby Bug Stopper to the test and waiting for my daughter’s head to grow just a bit more to use the Sunday Afternoon Hat.
Thank you for the introduction to this website. It is wonderful!
